Hazen's Manchester, NH Office Now Open
(NEW YORK, NY - January 12, 2018) - Hazen and Sawyer, one of the largest engineering firms in the country focused entirely on water, has announced the opening of a new office in Manchester, NH.
Founded in 1951, Hazen and Sawyer (Hazen) employs more than 1,000 water professionals in nearly 50 offices across the country. While this is the firm’s first office in New Hampshire, Hazen has served the cities of Nashua and Manchester, among other local clients, for more than a decade.
“As we’re seeing around the world, New England’s water management challenges are changing and intensifying,” said Charlie Hocking, Hazen President and CEO. “We’re excited to continue and to broaden our support of local utilities, helping them address increasing pressures on drinking water quantity and quality, while balancing supply with stream flows, as well as the thoughtful disposal of storm and wastewater surrounding more frequent extreme weather events.”
The Manchester office will be managed by Frank Ayotte. For more than 29 years, Mr. Ayotte has managed water, wastewater, and combined sewer overflows (CSO) and stormwater improvement projects, including several CSO Control Programs in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Staff joining Ayotte in the new office include Marc Morin, whose 30 years of experience providing management, design, and construction of water and wastewater engineering projects includes serving as Acting Director of Public Works for the Town of Durham.
Hazen works with large and small municipalities to address water supply and water quality challenges with water management solutions tailored to deliver lasting benefits to the communities they serve. The firm offers integrated services that span all phases of a project, including planning, testing, design, construction management, startup, and operation and maintenance services.
The office is located at 1750 Elm Street, Suite 402, Manchester, NH, 03101.
