(PORTLAND, OR – February 1, 2024) – Hazen experts will present technical sessions and a workshop at the upcoming Water Environment Federation (WEF)/American Water Works Association (AWWA) Utility Management Conference, being held February 13-16, 2024, in Portland, OR.
The annual Utility Management Conference offers attendees the opportunity to learn from utility leaders and discuss timely, relevant topics related to utility management. The 2024 conference features six pre-conference workshops and 36 technical sessions.
Our presentations include sessions on strategic plan development, the risks (and opportunities) of artificial intelligence (AI) in the water sector, data management and dashboard development, and a closer look at utility cost recovery and customer affordability for utilities in North Carolina. We will also discuss Water Research Foundation Project 5189: AI/Machine Learning (ML) Framework for Water and Wastewater Utilities, which seeks to provide quantifiable results and case studies to help utilities evaluate AI/ML techniques and determine what tools are the best fit for their organizations.
