Associate Vice President
Bryan serves as Hazen’s Energy Management Group Leader. He specializes in the evaluation of demand management opportunities, coordination and negotiations with electric utilities, biogas utilization evaluations, process optimization evaluations, and master planning services. He has also designed and optimized on-site power generation systems, energy-efficient lighting and motor control systems, and variable speed systems.

- Energy management, auditing, and efficiency improvements for water and wastewater facilities
- Biogas fueled combined heat and power (CHP) generation system design and economic analysis
- Low- and medium-voltage power distribution, electrical controls, VFD systems, and lighting
- Evaluation and design of onsite power generation systems for prime and standby applications
- Power system studies include symmetrical and asymmetrical short circuit analysis, arc flash analysis, motor starting and load flow analysis, harmonic calculations, and circuit breaker coordination
- Alternative energy evaluations including solar, wind, geothermal and hydro power
