Katya is a nationally recognized leader in wastewater process modeling, nutrient removal, advanced control strategies, and machine learning. She has developed, calibrated, and utilized BioWin models for numerous wastewater facilities to optimize their performance and assess their ability to meet current/proposed nutrient limits. Katya is currently developing real-time process control capabilities for treatment operators.
